The great part of foodstuffs offered in our restaurant, “The Tempe Restaurant”, comes from the magnificent rosy countryside, that place in which Cicero loved to spend its time. The farm-to-table method allow us to create high quality dishes, gifting you moments of profound pleasure.
Here what Cicero expressed in his writings:
Lots are the pleasures of the countryside life. Farmers owe field, which never refuse an order and never return you back something without adding something more. It’s not only its productive characteristic that please farmers, but also its attentiveness. From a fig or a grape seed, or from all the other existing seeds, the Earth can generate round trunks and branches. Day by day, snatches, sticks and leaves offer farmers a different and new show. Thanks to the nourishment from the soil, grapes grow, from unripe to ripe, becoming sweet and, covered with leaves, they maintain their warmness and are preserved by sun rays. Moreover, countryside life is good not only for vineyards, gardens or branches, but also for orchards and springs. Always plenty of olive oil and wine is the cellar and the pantry of the good and steady patron, and so the farm, that is rich and wealthy. It is plenty of porks, goats, lambs and chickens. By now farmers define their orchards as their second pantry.
